Dear Colleagues,
I am a dedicated teacher and I am a life-long learner who has always encouraged others to help me learn as much as I can throughout any school year. I have been a regular classroom teacher for six years and I have my ESL Specialist and that is why I decided to take my knowledge in that area to the next level and become an ESL teacher.This website is designed to shed some light on a fairly new topic: CULTURAL COMPETENCY.
I recently read an article by Stan Paz (Nov. 2008) on the topic and was inspired to create a website dedicated to it since it reveals itself to be a topic of interest to many but not easily understood.Please join me in my quest as a life-long learner to learn more about the topic and become more culturally competent.
